Hey everyone!
It is that time again! Let us stroll through some more days of yore with the help of the next 6 incredible artists!
Nintendo Entertainment System by ~AmazingTrout
AmazingTrout has a little bit of everything in his gallery. Comics, coloured works. There is always something to see, it is a gallery that lives and you can clearly see where his interests are. A unique and free style, especially the line arts of his works look amazing.
Nintendo Entertainment System is a great artwork representing a sad truth. Dust will get to these little guys. People can say all they want but blowing in the games and system works and has an actual purpose...removing unwanted dust. It is an extremely simple artwork, no shading whats so ever but it works. Sometimes simple is better. Why does this artwork remind me of Disney so much?
Dig Dug by ~BitBallet
BitBallet has an unusal way of colouring his artworks, maybe it's a style or maybe it is due to the fact that one could consider him to be more of a pixel artist. He doesn't just pixel but he animates his pixel works as well. They are always very smooth and they all look great wether their designs are simple or more intricate.
Dig Dug is a perfect example of this. The NES needs more pixel artist fan art like this. The character looks incredible and the running animation is both realistic and smooth. Now to dig up that game...
RYGAR by ~CoS-childofsin
CoS-childofsin has a gallery that is exactly to my liking, a lot of game fan art and a wide variety in styles too. I especially love the black shading he sometimes uses. He has several NES fan arts and I wish he would do more because the few that he made are all incredible. One of those galleries I could get lost in.
RYGAR is one of those examples. A wonderful style for a wonderful game. The pastel like colours really suit the original games' and the angle and character design he used really personalize it in a very unique way.

MM: Kalinka's Thank You by ~Pineapplelicious
Pineapplelicious is an artist I have wanted to feature for so long already. I LOVE her stuff! She does beautiful and colourful fan art. A lot of Nintendo stuff like Mario and Classic Megaman fly through her gallery. It is always joyful and fun and nothing short of an adventure going through her gallery because there is so much in there. Beware though, she does some kinky stuff here and there so if all you can do is b*tch about nudity and certain pairings then turn around right now. But I promise you'll be missing out on so much.
MM: Kalinka's Thank You is softer than most art in her gallery. Kalinka doesn't get a lot of love, at least not compaired to Roll and especially since Megaman 4 is my personal favourite I just had to show this girl off...both of these girls actually.
Level One by ~RobAndersonJr
RobAndersonJr is first and foremost a photo manipulator and good at what he does. He also does a lot of 3D artwork such is this piece right here and in general a lot of Zelda related things. The NES world needs more photo manipulators and 3D artists because there is so much cool stuff that can still be done with the help of those domains.
Level One is 1 among 5 so far of his Zelda levels and is still my favourite for 2 reasons. One, It almost looks like one of his photo manipulations instead of 3D art and it is a lot darker than the other ones. And two, I guess it also just looks the most like the original dungeon in my head. But do not fear, this does not mean the other levels he made are any less good.
BATTLE OF THE STARMEN FOR THE STARMAN Ver. 1 by ~Kaigetsudo
Jmanvelez has an amazing style, wether it is something serious or something funny he uses this incredible bright colour style with hard shadows and it works every time again. He does a lot of fan art but in a lot of different domains. If I could choose anyone whom's technique and style I would be aiming for it's this dude's. I love the way he does those black shadows.
BATTLE OF THE STARMEN FOR THE STARMAN Ver. 1 is a wonderful mix of characters that have nothing in common but are linked via one important detail. At first I wanted to feature version 2 but it wasn't submitted to the group yet OTL None the less this was my original original feature idea so it doesn't really matter. This artwork is still a great example of his imagination and creativity. A true Masterpiece.
I hope you guys enjoyed these features. Till next time!

Yes, we're still playing with power!
Hey everyone! :#1:
I'm really sorry for this massive inactivity these past... two years? Damn, that's longer than I would have liked for sure.
I still have many ideas for digital art, and this group WILL NEVER be a dead group! Unfortunately a couple of months ago my life got kinda torn to shreds. It's okay, I seriously came out much better. I'm honestly happy. But my current situation is kinda tight, I don't have a new laptop yet, let alone a new tablet. So art on my side is kinda dead for the time being.
I won't let this group die though! I love you guys way too much, and I'm having too much fun here always! And I love talking about NES g
What NES games 'HD Remakes' would YOU love to see?
Hey everyone! :#1:
This last gaming generation has been more so about Remakes and Remasters than any other gen before. The Playstation 4 and Xbox 1 received so many Remasters from games that haven't even been out yet for a year that it's almost becoming a disgrace. It makes you forget that remakes can actually be a GREAT thing! And many great remakes have already come to pass. More so than you would probably think even!
In light of this I made a Youtube video where I talk about some of my favourite remakes done in the past few years and I also about remakes I would still love to see. You would be surprised at how many NES games are actually
Final Fantasy is FINALLY represented in Smash Bros
Megaman, Pac Man, Mario, ROB, Duck Hunt Duo, DK, Pit, Little Mac, Link, Kirby and so many more still, so many retro NES heroes have gotten their rightful place to defend their honour in Smash. I love it how Nintendo still sees the value in their old franchises. NES REMIX, Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo Land, Super Mario Maker, Smash and more, so many games are still loyal to us old school gamers who grew up with or simply love the NES so much!
Final Fantasy started out on the NES, Nintendo and Square haven't always seen eye to eye in the past few generations but none the less, I always remembered the old days, I have always wanted Final Fantasy t
Retro Icon Commissions OPEN!
Hey Everyone,
The (Pixel) Artist ValaSedai (https://www.deviantart.com/valasedai) has opened up her commissions. Usually I would not share such journals in this group but she is actually the person who designed our (to quote her own words) 'now out of date' group icon which I still love so damn much!
She has already done retro gaming pixel art before so if any of you were thinking about changing your avatar or in need of a new group icon go check out her work!
